WLM 2009 File Transfer

In a not so distant past ago , we were happily using msn messenger 8.5 (or was it WLM already ?) and experienced no hassle whatsoever. Then , in a not so distant future of a not so distant past , Nazi Microsoft decided to perform a compulsory update for all pre-WLM 2009 to it. Now , the reason this post exist was due to a friend of mine complaining about the file transferring. The issue he was referring is the virus scanning "feature" for file transfers (compulsory of course) , apparently you must install an anti-virus for the file transfer to work. On which type of file extensions , I have no idea , but it seems even .rar and .zip are a no go.

SS of the message

Step 1:

Step 2 : Browse into the folder of your anti-virus , then select the exe. (nod32.exe for NOD32 for example). Apply then done.

Impending doom ?

Government has started the ban on blogs and websites WHICH they CLAIMED contained "offensive" materials. For in which manner, I have no idea. Maybe a simple "hidup PR, mampus BN" will get your blog banned for alleged SEDITIOUS remarks.

What many did not realise, is the government has already crack down on several websites that is AGAINST them, namely Malaysia Today. Method they employed is a simple DNS block, which can be easily bypassed by accessing the website using their IP address instead of the publicly known domain address "malaysia-today.net" (the gomen aren't so smart afterall).

Other methods including a change of DNS servers instead of the ones provided by our ISP (especially TMNuts).

A nation in serious Facepalm mode

Came across an article in NST

http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/NST/Sunday/National/2581875/Article/index_html

To quote that Minister, 'He's not disabled, he has special ability'.

You sure know we are fucked as a nation when a minister is too damn well free to label others and giving them nicknames. 'Mat Cemerlang' by our previous PM, remember ?

On the other hand, this.

This is EXACTLY what we needed for the education sector ! To filter out incompetent and underperforming students ! I mean FFS, who would fail their SPM ENGLISH anyway ? (no, we dont need Capt. Obvious here). Looking at the bright side, at least some minister has the balls to give majority of students out there a hardtime and let them reconsider when they fuck around with the SPM. Especially those fully knowing they are gonna enter local Uni anyway even though they've failed English (capt. Obvious again).

To Be a Human

Human relationship, as solid as it appears to be, is actually vague and easily broken.

It all starts with misunderstanding. The reason for misunderstanding ? Breaking down of communication. When one side no longers listen to the other side or taking the words out of contexts.

Above are depicted from a true story which I only know partial of it. :D

Anyways, here is a joke to lighten up.

[RANT]Malaysian people cannot drive

I originally planned to list down the habit of (most) Malaysian drivers, but it all boils down to only one.

1. The terrible lack of common sense

Throw an IQ test along with the Undang test, I'd say 90% of those baffoons out there will fail hard.

Panorama Series (Putrajaya)

My first (successful) attemp on panoramic shot, taken on Putrajaya. Combination of 5 shots.

Kuchai Flood (Aftermath)

Heavy rain struck Kuchai Lama couple days ago and I managed to snap some shots of the aftermath.

But just in one day, the road is fixed up. So, no biggies there.
